Hello Composition Classes!
Here is the first blogging assignment: You know to look at the photo posted here and choose two of the objects and describe them so that I can recognize them and know which ones they are. Do not tell me the location (like "the one in back" or "the one on the left") but be creative.
Also, in case you are not able to post with an ID, be sure to put your name and indicate which section (10 a.m. or 1 p.m.) in your post. Either begin the post with your name and section, or end it with your name and section.
And keep in mind that this is a creative assignment and that a large portion of the grade is given for EFFORT!

The first object that I am going to describe consists of a light red based color. It possess horizontal stripes when standing upright. The object gets larger from bottom to top. Both the top and bottom end of the object are circular. The object is light to lift and made of plastic. Another trait is that this object is shorter than the majority of the other objects.
The second object consists of a dark red color. It is in the shape of a cylinder. The top end of the cylinder is open. The object has two horizontal stripes on the top quarter of the cylinder object. In between the stripes there are diamond shaped designs . There are also four large "x-shaped" designs on the bottom half of the object. The object is heavy to pick up and made of glass. Another trait is that this object is taller than most of the other objects.

Both objects I chose to describe are about the same shade of red. The first is about one-third taller than the second, and it is also a different color on the inside. It is larger at the top and narrow at the bottom. It is also extremely light with a folded lip. It is made of a shiny plastic that is not very durable, but it is perfect for gatherings of sort because of its cheap and disposable nature.
The second object is smaller. It is more narrow at the top and wider at the bottom. It seems to be made of a very durable plastic and has several different textured horizontal designs. Because of its wider base, durabilty, and easy grip access, my guess would be that this cup is either made for extra-ordinarily clumsy people, such as my self, or children.

Throughout life man people use this canister to hold hot or cold beverages. People usually use this canister to start of there day or some parents use it for safety of there kids, so they don’t burn there self’s, if they are drinking hot chocolate or anything that is hot. This canister has a curved nose and basically you can hold it and the nose is a black colour. They come in a lot of different shapes and sizes and also any colour you want. The canister is mostly located in the kitchen. My mother drinks out of this canister, when she comes to my soccer games early in the cold mornings.
The second item I am going describe is, something that everyone around the world use for parties. It holds about 5L( 1pinta, 0.9 OZ LIQ) of water. Normally used in birthday parties, back-yard parties, basically you can use this item for any kind of parties. You can purchase this canister at any near by store. This canister is white in the inside and can be many different colours in the outside, but one of the main colours is red. Also this canister has red stripes on the outside frame and where you put your lips around this canister, the edges are white all around.
